        Robert Lee Epley, Jr. was born to Robert Lee and Muriel (Buethe) Epley Sr. on September 1, 1944 in Pawnee City, Nebraska.  He began his elementary education in Tecumseh, and then moved with his family to Phoenix, Arizona where he attended junior high and high school, graduating from West High School in Phoenix, Arizona in 1963.

    Bob lived and worked as a roofer in the Phoenix area for many years until he moved back to Tecumseh in the ‘90’s to help care for his parents.  Bob enjoyed exploring the Arizona mountains and especially loved spending time with his dog “T”.   He was a very hard worker and loyal friend.   His father, Robert Epley, Sr. passed away Sept. 10, 2006.  Bob continued to assist his mother, Muriel so she was able to stay in her home until 2014.  Bob continued his roofing business in the Tecumseh area until his retirement in 2015.  He passed away suddenly at his home on June 21, 2016 at the age of 71 years. 

   Bob is survived by longtime partner, Joan Leach of Tecumseh, children, Robert L.  Epley III and wife Amy of Glendale, AZ, William Epley and wife Wendy of FL, and Kandy Jaffe and husband Jodi of Tempe, AZ, grandson, Jake Epley, great grandchildren, Adilyn Jade Epley and King Robert Epley, mother, Muriel Epley of Pawnee City, brother, Boyd Epley and wife Jane of Lincoln, nephew, J.R. Epley, niece, Jenna Beideck and many cousins and friends.

   He was preceded in death by his father and numerous aunts and uncles. 

  Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2016 at the United Methodist Church in Tecumseh, NE with Rev. Rob Clark officiating.  Register book signing will be at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, NE, Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 1-5 p.m.  Memorials may go to the family's choice.  Online condolences may be left @www.wherrymortuary.com.
