Regina S (Farmer) McHenry

     Regina "Gina" McHenry  was born September 22, 1971 to Jeff and Debbie Farmer in West Covina, California.  She attended school in Wilcox, Nebraska.  

 Gina was united in marriage to Daryl McHenry on June 5, 2009 in Lexington, Nebraska. Gina worked as a medication aide for the Holdrege Nursing Home.  

In her spare time she enjoyed reading books, being outdoors, collecting angels, spending time with family and friends and making new friends.  Gina loved to make people laugh.    

    Gina passed away at the Nebraska Heart Institute in Lincoln, Nebraska, Sunday, July 24, 2016 at the age of 44 years, 10 months and 2 days.

  Gina is survived by her husband Daryl McHenry of Tecumseh, children, Steven Hale, Tyler Farmer and Skylar Peterson, two grandchildren, mother, Debbie Farmer, three sisters, Sherry Farmer, Mellissa Voshell and Lorina Farmer, two brothers, Rick Englund and Jon Wallace, mother-in-law, Marie McHenry of Steinauer, sisters-in-law, Amber McElroy and Joyce Compton and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

  She was preceded in death by her father, Jeffery Farmer and father-in-law, Owen McHenry.

   Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2016 at the Burchard Cemetery, rural Burchard, Nebraska.     Visitation will be at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Nebraska, Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.    Memorials may go to the family’s choice.   Interment will be in the Burchard Cemetery, Burchard, Nebraska.   Online condolences may be left @ www.wherrymortuary.com.
