Norman John Covault

Norman John Covault, 94, of Humboldt, Nebraska, formerly of Shenandoah, Iowa was born on August 6, 1922 in Table Rock, Nebraska to Clarence Walter and Elva Pearl (Fulton) Covault.  He was raised in Table Rock where he attended grade school and graduated from Table Rock High School with the class of 1939.

On December 31, 1943, Norman was united in marriage to Marilyn Janice Plihal.  To this union two daughters, Linda and Barbara were born.  The couple would later divorce in 1973.  Norman was later united in marriage to Gladys Wilson on June 6, 1974 and resided in Shenandoh, Iowa for forty years.  He moved to Humboldt, Nebraska later in life when he became a resident of the Colonial Acres Nursing Home.

Norman passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at the Colonial Acres Nursing Home his home in Humboldt, Nebraska having reached the age of ninety-four years, seven months, and twelve days.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Jean Elizabeth Goldsberry.

Norman is survived by his loving daughters: Linda (Robert) McIntyre of Omaha, NE; Barbara (Gary) Durbin of Omaha, NE; grandsons: Brandon (Stell) Davis of Omaha, NE; Brad (Trish) Durbin of Omaha, NE; Jason (Annie) Durbin of Bellevue, WA; 6 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Norman has anatomically donated his body and no future memorial services will be held per his request.
