Marcus Edwin Latas

Marcus Edwin Latas, 23, of Table Rock, Nebraska was born on November 18, 1993, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Vicky Latas. He attended Head Start in Humboldt and then kindergarten through the 6th grade at HTRS. After moving to Kentucky, Marcus continued his schooling and graduated from South Laurel High School in London, Kentucky with the class of 2013. After graduating, he moved back to Table Rock in November of 2013 and has resided there since.  Marcus passed away at the St. Elizabeth’s Regional Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska on Monday, May 15, 2017, having reached the age of 23 years, 5 months, and 27 days. He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother Edna "Meme" Alderman, great-grandparents Bob and Lucile Latas, and an uncle Lennis Blecha.

 Marcus is survived by his parents Vicky and Ben Hall of London, KY; a brother Chris Latas of Table Rock, NE; a sister Rebecca Donaldson and her husband Robert of London, KY; special aunt "Momma" Daa Wiemers of Table Rock, NE; grandmother Donna Bucher of Table Rock, NE; grandfather Steve Bucher of Humboldt, NE; great-grandfather Art Alderman of Table Rock, NE; great-grandparents Gary and Lauralee Bucher of Auburn, NE; nephew and niece Jayden & Emily Donaldson of London, KY; and many other relatives and friends.

A Graveside Memorial Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017, at the Mound (Prospect) Cemetery east of Humboldt, Nebraska with Pastor Michael Mattox officiating.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017, at the United Methodist Church in Table Rock, Nebraska.

Inurnment will be at the Mound (Prospect) Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions may be given to the family’s choice with a later designation.
