George William Pace, 68, of Humboldt, Nebraska was born on July 23, 1949, in St. Joseph, Missouri to Wayne and Margaret (Hudson) Pace. On December 25, 1982, George was united in marriage to Nancy Brown in Kearney, Nebraska. George worked as a truck driver for many years and operated a pilot vehicle for escort transfer services. He and Nancy currently lived in Humboldt where George was attending church at the United Methodist Church. George passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at the Pawnee County Hospital in Pawnee City, Nebraska having reached the earthly age of sixty-eight years, six months, and fourteen days. He is preceded in death by his parents.
George is survived by his loving wife Nancy Pace of Humboldt, NE; step-children: Ken Brown of Humboldt, NE; Connie Sorensen of Austin, TX; 2 grandchildren; a sister Wanda Meyer of Platte City, MO; a brother Bruce Pace of St. Joseph, MO; In laws Jerry and Vivian Brown of Kearney, NE; and other relatives and friends.
