Frank Don Williamson

  Frank Don Williamson Sr., 63, of Table Rock, Nebraska was born on August 2, 1953, in Ralston, Nebraska to Marion and Frances (Bartlett) Williamson.  He grew up in Omaha and attended public school.  Frank graduated from Omaha South High School in 1971.  Growing up Frank got his nickname "Punkin" from his mother.  He loved to go fishing on the Missouri River with his biggest catch of 108 lb. catfish with his favorite Zebco fishing pole.  He also enjoyed working on cars.  In his early adult life at the age of 17, Frank began working for Sapp Brothers in Omaha, Nebraska.  At 23 years old, he met his future wife, Linda Kalina.  When asked by his children how they met he said, "Your mother drove 80 miles to buy a new car and from the moment I saw her I knew she was "the one" and a few days after she bought her car I drove 80 miles to find her." 

 On February 10, 1977, Frank was united in marriage to Linda Kalina in Omaha, Nebraska.  Frank and his family lived in Gretna, NE while Frank continued working at Sapp Bros. and then moved to Beatrice, Nebraska in 1991  and started working as the Service Manager at Burnham Motors, known now as Beatrice Ford.   Retiring in 2008, Frank and his wife Linda moved to Table Rock, NE.  Frank enjoyed spending time with his grand kids taking them fishing, collecting old coins and watches and going for weekend car rides.  Frank enjoyed watching WWE wrestling on Monday nights with his son Jason. 

Frank passed away on February 12, 2017 at Colonial Acres in Humboldt, Nebraska having reached the age of sixty-three years, six months, and ten days.  He and Linda had just made it to their 40th wedding anniversary two days before his passing. 

Frank was preceded in death by his father Marion Williamson and two brothers Roy and Bob Williamson.

He is survived by his wife Linda (Kalina) Williamson of Table Rock, NE; mother, Francis Williamson of Omaha, children, Tracy (Kevin) Williamson of Omaha, Frank (Angie) Williamson Jr. of Plattsmouth, NE; Jason (Heather) Williamson of Table Rock, NE;  and Janelle (Ben) Williamson of Beatrice, NE;  10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, siblings, Sharon (Terry) Johnson of Bellevue, NE, Lewis (Marti) Williamson of MO, David (Wanda) Williamson of LaVista, NE, Rosalee (Michael) Alley of Ralston, NE, Joyce (Randy) Birch of Ralston, NE, Kathy (Jack) Kalhorn of Omaha, NE and Michael (Judy) Williamson of Talmage and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2017, at The Church of Christ in Table Rock, Nebraska with Pastor Marvin Jamison officiating.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2017, at The Church of Christ in Table Rock, Nebraska.  Family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. at the church.

Inurnment will be at the Table Rock Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family’s choice with a later designation.
