Donna Jean Rogers

Donna Jean Rogers, 61, of Pawnee City, Nebraska passed away in Omaha, Nebraska on Thursday, September 7, 2017.  She was born on June 15, 1956 to Willard and Emaleen  (Sullwold) Rogers in Pawnee City, Nebraska.

Donna attended Gravel Hill County School, until it closed and then went to Pawnee City Schools, then graduating from Pawnee High School.

Donna enjoyed her life and her work. She was a dedicated employee, going to work even when the weather wasn’t the best. She worked a short time at Maple Grove Home, Campbell Soup Company until it closed, she worked at Pawnee Manor as a CNA and Crestview Manor in Seneca, Kansas ,  until June of 2017.  Most of her life she spent caring for others.

Donna spoiled her little cousins and enjoyed watching them grow up.  She was like an Aunt to those little cousins.

Donna’s lap top was full of pictures of family members new and old. She enjoyed technology  and was eager to use it, she was good at learning new things.

Donna did some drawing for her own enjoyment.  She did Artex painting of table cloths and other items.  She made a very large table cloth for her Aunt Luella that fit her table just right and  we use that one for all our family dinners.

Donna also collected of dolls and Nursery Rhyme plates, coins and stamps

Donna was preceded in death by her father, Willard Rogers and brother Robert Rogers.

Survived by her mother, Emaleen Rogers of Pawnee City, NE, niece Allyssia Rogers, Allyssia’s fiancé Alex Rottinghause, Aunt & Uncle, Hank ad JoAnn Sullwold, many cousins and friends.

Memorial service 2 p.m. on Monday, September 11, 2017 at the Presbyterian Church in Pawnee City, Nebraska.  Officiating Reverend Duane Westing.
