Donna Beth Laue

    Donna Beth Laue, 64, of Tecumseh, passed away December 6, 2016 at Belle Terrace in Tecumseh, Nebraska.  She was born to Edward and Dorothy (Koehler) Laue, Sr. on October 24, 1952 in Tecumseh, Nebraska.  Donna Beth was baptized November 9, 1952 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Reformed Church by Pastor Alex Greeb.  Her baptism verse was Mark 16:16.

   Her parents took care of her until she became a resident of Belle Terrace in Tecumseh on January 22, 1997.  She loved having music playing in her room.  The employees at the nursing home loved her; she always had a smile on her face when you walked into the room.  She enjoyed watching the birds in the bird aviary.  She would sit on the sofa and loved having her hands rubbed.  She especially loved children.

   Survivors:  siblings, Leona Bartels and husband Harold of Tecumseh, Bernice Rinne of Beatrice, Ruby McGuire and husband Dave of Cortland, Larry Laue of Tecumseh, Richard Laue and wife Lois of Wymore and sister-in-law Cynthia Laue of Lincoln, numerous nieces and nephews.

   She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Glen Laue and Edward Laue, Jr., brother-in-law, Charles Rinne and sister-in-law, Delilah Laue.                                              

   Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the St. Paul’s United Church of Christ (Maple Grove) Church, rural Tecumseh, Nebraska with Rev. Eric Biehl officiating.  Visitation will be at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Nebraska, Friday, December 9, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Memorials may go to the family’s choice.   Interment will be in the St. Paul’s United Church of Christ (Maple Grove) Cemetery, rural Tecumseh, Nebraska.  Online condolences may be left @ www.wherrymortuary.com.
