Andrea Kay (Furman) Lovitt

                                          ANDREA KAY LOVITT

  Andrea Kay Lovitt, 64, died peacefully on August 22, 2015 at her home in Crab Orchard, Nebraska.  Andrea was born July 18, 1951 in Sac City, Iowa, the daughter of Calvin and Doris (McGinness) Furman.  Andrea graduated from Lewiston High School in 1969.  Andrea and husband Gary raised 3 children in the Crab Orchard area.

   Andrea spent most of her career working in the pharmacy industry.  Family and friends were Andrea’s passion and delight.  Andrea had a generous heart, and was always giving to others.  Andrea enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports, compete at dance and participate in the local county and state fairs.

   She is survived by her husband, Gary, daughter, Nicole (Lovitt) Schneider and husband Bryan of Lincoln and children, McGinness and Montgomery, sons, Jeremy Lovitt and wife Julie of Beatrice and children, Brea, Ava, Chelsea, Skyler and Sara, and Jason Lovitt and wife Amber of Beatrice and children Kipton and Cooper, sister, Melanie Laflin and significant other Rick Koenig of Filley, brothers, Calvin Furman of San Antonio, TX and Robin Furman of Superior, brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Nancy Lovitt of Crab Orchard, mother-in-law, Pauline Lovitt of Crab Orchard, nieces, nephews and numerous cousins and friends. 

 Andrea was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Doris Furman and brother, Steven Furman.

    Memorial services will be held at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Nebraska, at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 28, 2015 with Rev. Ken Tubbesing officiating.  Visitation will be held at the Wherry Mortuary, Thursday, August 27, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m.  Memorials may go the family’s choice.  Private family inurnment will be at a later date.  Online condolences may be left @ www.wherrymortuary.com.
